Hey Guys!

Well, in a month or so, we will be travelling to canada, and i want to take my Play Station 2 with me. But my PS2 is PAL. So, would it work in canada ? My T.V here can switch PAL/NTSC 4.x/NTSC 5.X and my PS2 would run perfectly on NTSC 4.X , but the colours get fuzzy and distorted at NTSC 5.X

It would be alot easier and cheaper to take the PS2 with me, instead of trading it for a New NTSC PS2 here (pretty rare here)

As long as where your going the TV can switch to PAL then your fine, otherwise the frame rates are way off.
PAL = 25
NTSC = 30

Which means, there are TVs in Canada that switch to PAL???

I got my Xbox mod'd. It's got a 300GB drive in it. It's a portable jukebox -plays movies (any formats, just like a PC), music (again, any format), can surf the 'Net on it. Remote control from my PC or PDA via FTP. The thing's just demonic

Just got Forza Motorsport. It's taking up way too much of my time

But it's a VERY good simulator, better than GT4 IMHO (which I've also got on my mod'd PS2). In Forza they've got the Carrera GT, the GT3, the 959 and a 944 Turbo

Too much fun!

Thanx guys for your replies! You have encouraged me to buy both !!!! Actually i would like to stick to the PS2, because i have a huge collection of PS1 and PS2 Games. They are copies, only 2 are original. I have to quit this habbit when i arrive to Canada

. So i need a modified PS2 machine to play them. I got only 2 original games that came with the machine??!!.

lol, shhh dont tell anyone about your dirty habit, lol my PS2 isnt modded, but you can have them modded for about $80 at a flea market in abbotsford shouldnt be too much different out there
