Hello I just purchased a 1981 924 N/A and I am missing the EIS control I read in the Haynes manual that in order to test the ignition system that you unplug the control. Since I do not even have it in my car does anyone know if the car should run without it? Should the two plugs be plugged together if they can? I have checked around and I can't find another yet.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Hope to be on the road soon.

Only the US & Canadian cars got the TCI-H ignition with EIS.

Yes plug them together. As long as you have the correct ignition module (the Hall Effect one), should run fine.
