Why can't it stay clean for more than 3 minutes?

The front, the back, the body, the windows, the thing just wants to be dirty all the time!

I even bought a electric buffer/ waxer and it still took 3 1/2 hours!

How long does it take the rest of you to wash, scrub, hand dry, wax with a machine, wax the smaller areas by hand, buff, polish and re-polish?

Also, my car gets covered in flys after about 10 minutes on the highway do to that damn wall in front of me.

uggg

Ohhh fire works!

Time will vary by how much wax is on the car and condition of paint. I wash my car 3 or 4 times a week. I use a nylon bug sponge to remove bugs on the bumper, windshield and mirrors. I use a one foot wide brush to wash the car. I use a special rubber squeege to remove the water. I apply the wax by hand and remove wax by a 12" professional buffer.

I hope this helps.

Nice!

A nylon bug sponge? Where did you get it? Would there be anything else that would work like that?

The bug spoonge is 3.5" x 6" x 1". I would think most auto parts stores would have it.

Every time I put the car away for the night, I spray a lot of generic Windex on the bug covered parts of the car. I wait a few minutes until they start to run, then spray another coat of Windex and wipe them off with a cotton towel.

They come right off if you don't let them get baked in.

Thanks guys.

I'll look for the sponge and try the soaking spray.

On a bad note, I am guilty of letting the bugs get baked on about once or twice a week. I'll go for a 4 or 5 hour drive, return home near midnight and just be too tired to wash the car.

Where is that poll of ours Paul? I would change my vote to "accelerate at full throttle all the way to red line in every gear."
