So working on my EFI conversion. and Ill be using a Cam Angle sensor, instead of a Crank or flywheel sensor.
Im using one from Mitsubishi. (since I currently intend to use the EFI system from a First gen turbo Eclipse.)
But it works with other EFI systems including MS.

Here is more info to read on others who have converted to using the mistu CAS
http://www.forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=224740

So I have designed an adapter that will practically bolt right on to the factory distributor. It allows you to mount the CAS on to it.

Any one else interested? If so let me know as making several will bring the per part cost down.

when I did mine I welded the bobweights and just split one of the reluctor tangs into two to get the tdc pulse...
I think the better option is a crank pulley cogged tooth as you can then ditch the distributor altogether...

I'm in. As per "jaspervanweerd" my goal is to convert a 931 S2 to a msd ignition with a distributor sensor.
