I'm just putting a feeler out for now - I've gotten so busy over the last couple of months that I've not gotten to a few tasks with the car. Would anyone be willing to get paid/trade to help me install a starter, replace my parking brake assembly, and install Bilsteins all around? I'm hoping it could all be done in a day (pending any major set backs obviously) and I'd be looking at a Saturday toward the middle or end of December.

I'm still relatively a virgin at this stuff although I've been around here for a couple years. I'm certain I don't have the ideal tools for the job (mainly the shocks) but I'm sure I could manage with what I've got. I've got a insulated garage but not heated (yet) and I'm in Plainfield, IL (near I-55).

I feel a little shameful posting this, in all honesty, but I've had to take on more side work (web development) to get caught up in regular finances. I know its not good to let a project sit around started and unfinished.

I'd appreciate any feedback - even if you wanna blast me for some odd reason.

Thanks in advance.
(please PM)

I'd help if I was closer. Doing the shocks all round is far easier than you could imagine.

Thanks for the replies guys, I do appreciate it. Maybe not the best choice of words Rasta but I got your attention.

(changed title from "Probe" to "NEEDED" as I'm able to commit to it next month)

@Rasta Monsta- thanks, I appreciate the reply. If I move to the west coast I'll let you know.

@joecitizennn - looks like about 3 hours. If, for some awful reason, I've not gotten to it by then or I have something else that an extra hand might be helpful to have, I'll let you know. I do have a 79 924 with 8k miles on that hasn't run in 20 years - its waiting for new rubber every imaginable and all the other fun stuff to do in a situation like that. The car, otherwise, is beautiful.

8 hours all up. Normal day.
