I stumbled accross this while I was looking for some 924/944 stuff, they are recommended kits that fix the dreaded Hot Start problem. Has anyone installed one of these kits. Hope I'm not giving out old information?

these mods are fitted to late model and ones fitted with a/c.
I have the supplementary start valve but not sure about the second accumulator.

My understanding is that the early cars came with a single 20cc accumulator. That then changed to dual 20cc accumulators, then a single 40cc accumulator.

Yours would definitely be a single 40cc accumulator. Mine was leaking & I managed to get a 20cc accumulator off eBay really cheap (they are actually more expensive than a fuel pump over here), so I'm currently running a single 20cc accumulator setup. Not ideal but better than a leaking (& therefore non-functional) accumulator!
