Hey guys, my starter is snafu but I've found that I'm missing the upper mounting bolt, it was being held in with just the lower bolt and nut.

Anyone know the exact size, length and thread pitch? Is it a standard sized bolt?

It's for the 1978 2.0L euro.

Cheers.

M12x75 according to the parts list, but they don't give the pitch. That should be either 1.50 or 1.75 and if I had to guess, I'd say it's the finer pitch, 1.50.
The lower bolt should be a little longer at M12x85 and most likely the same thread pitch as the upper one.

The parts diagram shows the starter with the larger bolt at bottom with a washer and nut. The smaller one's shown at top with no nut. If this is correct (nut on the lower one), then yes, the diagram is showing the starter right-side-up and the smaller bolt's at top. (my cars' starter mounts differently and uses different sized bolts from the 924NA, therefor the uncertainty)
