Flywheel lock?
Screwdriver jammed in the ring gear and levered against the starter hole?
Impact wrench? _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

Our impact wrench doesnt fit into the space that we have. we just moved the clutch bellhousing back about 4 inches. i will try the screwdriver idea. thanks. _________________ early 77 924 na |

remove the bellhousing entirely, you will have to to be able to remove the flywheel anyways _________________ 3 928s, |

Try the poor mans' impact wrench - smack your wrench with a mallet. I used this technique in the Navy to remove flywheel bolts with my engine on a workbench and nothing to imobilize the flywheel. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."
