has anyone made solid transaxle mounts before ? If so how did it affect the shifting ?

C'mon.....nobody has solid transmission mounts ???

My friend had those on his racer, but they gave awful drivetrain noise to the chassis. I wouldn't put them on a daily driver.

I asked this question once before, solid motor mounts and trans mount. No one makes them for our cars that I'm aware of. It would definately help put some more power to the wheels..

If you come up with something, post it up. They shouldn't be hard to make homemade ones, just a little welding..

if you do make solid ones (it has been done track cars only) you must do solid engine mounts as well, and at the same time you will have to seriously beef up the engines frame mounts.
