Hi

Can anyone tell me is there a difference between the exhaust system on a 1981 RHD euro spec 924 compared to a US spec exhaust. I am interested in a MSDS header but have received an email from them stating that they are not sure whether it will fit a RHD model. Can anyone help?

Only problem would be the steering shaft down to the rack.
Not sure if it would fit with clearance for this.

yeah, you can pretty much guarantee that they won't fit a correct-hand drive car because of the steering shaft.

Ok if that the case is there anyone in the UK that makes a header for a RHD 924?

Vince also had a good suggestion of keeping the existing manifold & cutting the downpipes short then having a dual pipe arrangement made up with full flow mufflers.

Sounds good to me but only problem is getting someone to weld something like that up for me.

Any exhaust shop should be able to do it. My shop did not have a problem at all.
