Hi,
am editing a piece for the TV and it includes a shot of my 924 starting up and driving away. My car sounds like a bag of spanners (see other posts!) so it'd be nice to overdub a sweet sounding 924 to give the public a taste of what a nice NA can be like... Mine passes muster in terms of looks but I'd like to show the whole package!
email wav/mp3 to seanski44@yahoo.com

I can imagine!! burble burble... mind you, even none afficionados would suspect that all wasn't stock under the bonnet - not that that's a bad thing!
I would just search the web for this, but I don't want copyright issues, so if you want your car on telly (at least in sound only!) mail me a sound, or a link to a sound... - best quality you can, but obviously not too large not to email.
and the drive away isn't that spirited, its a gentle pull away, so no black line laying wheelspin soundtracks! a simple startup and drive off sound please _________________ 1998 BMW Z3 2.8 arctic silver & red

If you wait til this weekend, I can get some videos of my car taking off.. its a turbo but at least its a 924.
Otherwise I have a video of my buddy's car taking off... although that car is a 944 turbo.
If you dont have something by this weekend, I will make one.

Hey
I only have my 3L in notts at the moment, but you can record that if it helps, its a 4 cylinder NA after all. And it's in Dunkirk which is close enough to you.

cheers all - flosho, the movies are good, but won't fit with what I've filmed - the shot starts on the wheel and pulls out as the car disappears, and its in a car park, so its very slow indeed.
Chris, when are you around? - I'll give you a bell tomorrow perhaps as I may pop out and grab a soundbite from your car as then I can direct how it happens.
Let me know

Don't know if I'm too late, but you can have one of my 924s if you like; sounds quite good right now.
