IT STARTED TODAY! i tried yesterday, and nothing. not even a "hey gary, i want to start, but theres one little thing wrong". it was a " NO IM NOT GONNA START TODAY" soo i took off the exhaust pipe (my dad thought something was in it, causing it to not let the exhaust out) soo, i tried again today, and it fired riight up (without a pipe on it, sounding meannn). im excited. first time its ran since about june last year!

Some punk kid stuffed a spud in your exhaust pipe, perhaps?

Well, if all you did was to remove the exhaust pipe, and that was the difference between starting and not starting, then it sure appears you've got a blocked exhaust pipe!
If you put it back on and it won't start again, I'd say that pretty much confirms it... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

actually. heres another thing, my car had 2 grounds- the body ground and the engine ground. my dad only had one of the grounds connected to the battery, and then he conected BOTH grounds to the battery, and it fired up, another thing he JUST told me. haha. _________________ early 77 924 na |

I hope your clutch cable doesn't snap soon. (if the engine to body ground was not in place, sometimes the engine tries to use the clutch cable as a ground.) _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"
