I replaced mine myself; pretty easy, since I was already in there replacing the rubber damper (on the automatic - same as replacing a clutch on a stick). That made access real easy; it also was how I found out about it, noticing the leak while I was working on the bellhousing.

The big PITA I believe is just getting access to it; it's just a couple of hose clamps and the cable, once you get to it, right guys? Maybe someone else can tell what needs to be done to get to it...

It's an easy job.

It's impossible to reach in there to do the easy job.

Don't drop the clip holding the cable to the valve body.

Where (in MO) are you?

Thanks....in Knob Noster...where the B2's are at. So...the slider on the console is what moves the valve on and off..is that correct? If so, I'm assuming I can remove the console/radio and all that crap and see the valve from the inside...is that correct?

thanks....pat
