I use mozilla firefox. Adblock deals with these ugly things for me.

| Forums that allow them are a pain to read. |

There is currently nothing that stops them so I just have to change individual profiles to say they can't have a sig. Eventually people will get the idea. _________________ Remember; This is a democracy, one man, one vote. I'm that man and this is my vote. |

Sometimes you have to spell things out for people.
I've changed the software so that signatures can not contain pics. _________________ Remember; This is a democracy, one man, one vote. I'm that man and this is my vote. |

I think the pic size on the left is way too small.
I always wonders what other member cars look like.
You can only make out that its a 924 and the colour.
Saying that I hate sigs at the bottom of every post, and I HATE comercial sigs.
My vote would be to get rid of sigs all together, crap like that can be left in the "my profile".
I mean I dont need to know where you live, when you joined, and what your favourite saying is, EVERYTIME you reply to a post.
A single pic, that you believe represents who/whatever/your choice, on the left, NOT at the bottom, and to be of a size that people can see what makes your 924 special.
No adverts in the pic!
It doesn't require anymore room, and looks neater than the present.
check something like this

Nice, now that's the polite approach!

I think the current system works great. Keeps the forum easy to read and still allows for some personalization / info.
Having your location under your name is often very helpful. Also, having a small text sig with car mods (speaking of...) / favorite Tom Waits quote / etc. is a nice way to remember who's who too.
I say the mods have it just about right |

I like everything the way it is, only two things...
1. more smilies?
2. you could make it so sig pics will work for people that want them, and then not display sig pics for those who don't.
I also think that having the persons location on the left side under the avatar is helpful, it usually saves people time if they need to know where the person is from.. Same with the signature, if you put your model car in the sig with mods and what not, it eliminates the "tell us what year your car is before we can help" problem. _________________ [This Space For Rent] |
