Going to wait for the REVs and title search results and it does look to good to be true.
$16000 au plus $1000 freight.

Thought it was missing a 1 or 0
Its a 2005 boxster with 15,000klms.
I have been assured its the right price but it must be under finance, stolen or a scam.
I'll keep everyone informed.

You're wise to go very slow on this. There has been alot of scams out there lately for sports cars and motorcycles. I saw one that said they'd pay the freight from Great Britain to the states, all you had to do was send them a check for the vehicle; in this case, a brand new Honda Goldwing 1800 that retails for around 20kUSD. They were only asking $5500. And that was shipped to your door.

There was another going around on a 928, here in the states, but you had to register to bid on the item. You could never get a reply from them on the condition of the car or the real location and refused to do a ppi.

You're smart to look at this closely. If it's for real, WOO-HOO! If not, you've only lost a few minutes of your time.

Good Luck!

That looks like a 2006 Boxster S, maybe the $16,000 is the up front costs for a lease?

If it seems to good to be true,,,,,,

Though I do know someone(16 yr old) that bought a 911 from a grandmother, whose husband past away years ago, for $1000 dollars.

This type of thing never happens to me.

Let's hope it's not a flodded car. Cars can be shipped to a few states, titles washed, and shipped to a new state.

There are many scams out there now, be careful and hav a Porsche dealership run the VIN to see who owns it, where it was bought, serviced and if it's owned by the person selling it and if it has any serious issues.

Best of luck.

even if it turns out to be legit, i'd be putting in the effort and flying over there to pick it up personally. exchange money for the keys and title then and there.
