| I've decided I'm finally gonna toss a cat on the car, can't get it past emissions as is. So I'm wondering what the dimensions for a replacement cat would be, and what aftermarket companies are pretty good for solid performing cats, as I'd like to get something with a little more growl than OEM. |

| The OEM cat is a pretty good one in my opinion. Your cheapest solution may be to get it off a junkyard car with low miles. You should be extra careful as Porsche tuned the engine to run with a certain amount of back-pressure and if you get rid of it youll have to tinker with mapping adjustments, or that mixture/timing adjustment screw on the main computer box! |

Check with Midas. I bought a generic replacement for about $130 a few years ago, installed. But someone stole it and replaced it with a straight pipe. I don't know who or how it happened. _________________ '80 924 n/a SOLD |
