My plan is to get my dash and interior fixed up and looking swish again, plus also want to get the body sorted. Nothing major on the body, just little dings, scratches etc, but want to re-spray her (still white but with blue/red stripes in line with driver from front to back - like McQueens jacket).
Question is what should I do first? My head tells me the interior, but interested in hearing from the collective genius here...
Hoping to get it kicked off before Xmas - present to myself! Sshh, don't tell the missus!

I'd do the bodywork first. Seriously! I'm getting a new interior anyway, but even if I didn't want to, I'd have to now because it's all covered in a layer of dust.
I tried taping everything up but it's a pain and always gets in the way. It would suck to have the new interior damaged by a little screw up with paint.

See my thinking was it would suck to have the paint messed up whilst removing dash etc... guess there are pros and cons each way...

Nice work - how long did that all take? I'm looking at thinner stripes, and offset to the drivers side (RHS).

I painted three of my cars. Two with the interiors in the car. So, paint the car with the interior out. Finish the outside and replace the interior. As someone said the dust will be everywhere and you have to careful of overspray. I was very carefull and partially successful. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

Hmm, on the weekend I found a parts car with a near perfect dash - that could be mine for less than the cost of repairing my current one (per guesstimate from consoles.com). Thinking I might take em up on the offer...
Now have to work myself up for the removal and reinstall... (deep breath)...
