|
|
| I was replacing my oil pressure sending unit the other day and i noticed that the bundle of wires that travels down to the sending unit has an extra wire in addition to the two that go to the sending unit. This third wire is shielded and unfortunately must have snagged while driving? .... Because now it is clearly been sheared off and I have no idea where it went or what it plugged in to. Does anybody have an idea of where this third shielded wire may go to? I am new to the forum and was hoping someone who "knows all about it" could help me out. Thanks! |

Could it be the oil level sender? Is that plugged in? It should be in the side of the oil pan, above the drain plug. _________________ Vaughan Scott
