Super good feeling. I really like the 8-spokes, and I love them in black, so this is great for my taste. The factory black looks so nice in person. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

They are the ones that were listed on EBay a little while ago, but I bought them outside of Ebay when they didn't sell. Got in touch with the seller after the auction expired, $50 per rim plus shipping. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

Alright, I finally got around to putting these rims on the car.
I used these factory spacers on the rears:
The spacers can be found in PET in the accessory section:
I used 5/16 spacers on the front from Performance Products.
I bought slightly longer after market bolts for the front (safety first kids) and I tried to find a close match looks-wise in a lug nut for the rear.
Here are the results:
Rear
Front
I really like having the wheels all spaced out a bit. The stock rear especially always looked too tucked under the body. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

Nice! I like the yellow, too. I know you're planning a repaint sometime, but I think yellow suits the shape. You're right about the rears being tucked under too much when stock. The 944 suffers from this as well. _________________ '88 944 Auto - may or may not resurrect |

I have 8 spokes do the spacers make much of a noticable difference to handling or not? I am always wary of spacers after I snapped one on my mini when I had my flyoff handbrake in.
Lets just say having a wheel come off at 60 going sideways ain't fun ... well ok it's great fun but I'm really not meant to say that _________________ I had a diesel now own a porsche and my little pocket is crying in pain |

I took it out for a 30 mile spin this morning, I didn't notice any difference in handling, but I don't track the car so I'm not sure the difference would be apparent on the street. Hopefully the spacers won't break, fingers crossed. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

spacers make all the difference...i had factory spacers(4 bolt) and now i'm running a GT wide track(5 bolt)+spacers..the difference in handling is incredible from 4 bolt+spacers to 5 bolt no spacers and 5 bolt +spacers.
besides...spacers make the car look good...make it look newer. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits
