I've had two probes over the years, both 94's, the GT manual was a far better/faster/more fun animal than the 4cyl auto. ( lethargic! ) the probe sites usually have some interesting stuff going on, no shame in checking them for ideas. One thing they've explored in the past is phenolic spacers, with good results on insulating the t/b and intake plenum from the head/block heat soak. Its just a material type gasket that blocks heat exchange. I actually bought a set for my Probe GT , but never got around to installing them, sold em with the car awhile back.
Ive got "measure 931 intake plenum temp" on my future to do list though, as i think intake temp reduction at the plenum might be worth a look... _________________ Eric
