Going to date myself on this one.
Back in the 50's & 60's when I was a kid, each country had a color assigned for race cars that ran at Le Mans, Sebring etc.
Germany-Silver
England-Dark Green
USA-White & Blue
Am planning to do a model for a Christmas present and want to do in the colors of Hungary.
From my senior memory the color combination was a dark green body with red and white on different parts of the car body.
Anyone know a source so I can get the specs????
Anyone out there know |

LOL!
I'd tell you the ones for the Middle East but I'm afraid the Islamo-facists would put a jihad out on my a$$. _________________ '80 924 n/a SOLD |

Not so easy.
And because I'm not old enough to remember the pre-sponsor era, I do not know the colors.
I've tried an image search, and altough I know a few names to search, I've only found sponsor colored cars or black and white pictures.
I keep trying, and I can call the National Autosport Asociation on Thursday. |

are you sure that Germany's color was white?? I've never seen a white car from before ww2. Silver Merc, silver Auto Union, and even the 550 spyders were silver. They still advertise almost solely in silver. _________________ 1987 924S Guards Red
