What on the 82 924 is aluminium?

I'm having my parts car taken to the scrap yard but I thought I would pull off aluminium parts.

I thought the head and are the spider web wheels aluminium?

Well I don't think I am going to be taking the pistons out cause that's a PITA while the engine is in the car and I don't have a hoist. I didn't know about the bumpers. Rear one is too?

Anything a magnet won't stick to that isn't plastic or vinyl.

Aha! Okay, windshield, mirrors, bumper rubbers, windscreen wipers -- there's lots more stuff to look at!

(I couldn't resist!)

I'm really suprised do one has busted this out yet.

"is a silvery white and ductile member of the poor metal group of chemical elements"

or something simular.

And the throttle body seems aluminium and are the cam girtle caps or whatever they're called aluminium?

Sorry I can't find a magnent.

Leave it at the head and the wheels (poss. intake manifold), nothing else is worth the hassle.

The spiderwebs are aluminium? The TB seems to be too.

I am glad I didn't sell it to anyone that wanted to upgrade to FI. The gas has turned to like amber in the lines. I've seen some bad gas before but dang.

I'm trying to get the head off. I got the valve cover off and most of the rest dissasembled so I can get the head and intake mani off before it gets dark.
