Hi

I thought my clock didn't work, I now know it does. (pulled it apart ....)

but it's just not getting enough power.

Does any one know why my multimeter would be telling me that the clock is only getting 1volt ish.

Paul

Pull out the current-flow diagram and find where the voltage is disappearing. The clock is wired to the cigarette lighter by what should be a red wire which is wired to unswitched power.

Also check the continuity between the clock earth (brown) wire and a good earth point.
