Hi,
I recently got a fuel distributor with part number 0.438.100.039, but was told that this is not compatible with the new accumulators as probably fitted on mine (82 924 non-turbo), is this true.

your advice would be greatly appreciated

The newer ones had the Oxy sensor and Frequecy Valve the old ones didn't. Don't know if it can be made to work. (By disableing the Oxy or FV)

Is that the Bosch number? Do you know the corresponding Porsche part number?

I don't really see how the fuel dist. can be affected by the type of accumulator. So long as the accumulator(s) keep(s) the pressure up, what does the dist. care?

hi
thanks everyone for the advice.

thats the bosch part number.

another question, since i have a 82 924 ROW, will this fuel distributor fit onto my airflow meter, i ask this because according to then parts guide, both 77-79 & 80-82 from the porsche website, the part numbers dont change.

this advice would be greatly appreciated.

regards,

john
