I had a gas leak/smell coming right from the gas tank underneath where the 2 electrical wires are. It was just real loose and i wiped all the gas off after i tightened it and ran silicone all around it. I bet my neighbors upstairs were getting high off gas fumes lol.
BTW I'm no longer looking for an automatic tranny, I found a 77 with one in it, just going to buy entire car and have 2 924's AGAIN, this will be my 5th or 6th 924, I lost count lol. _________________ 2000 Cavalier Z24 imposter

Make sure your silicone is gas resistant, I have a feeling that its not... _________________ 1994 Lotus Esprit S4 - Work in progress...
