I have never played with injection before, always been a Chevy muscle car kinda guy, but my 924 will not start unless I prime it with a couple tablespoons of gas down the intake. Once it starts it runs and delivers fuel pretty good.

Any thoughts?

Check the cold start valve if your problems hapen when cold. If you have a starting problem when the engine is hot, then check the fuel pressure acumulator and the one way valve at the fuel pump exit.

[Yes,] The CSV (cold start valve) is supposed to spray an extra shot of fuel while you have the ignition switched to the start position. It's an electric solenoid operated fuel injector similar to an efi injector, but looks different. It works in conjunction with the "thermo-time switch" (aka- TTS) which ensures that the CSV does not activate during a warmed-engine re-start. -So your problem might be with the CSV, the TTS, or the wiring. The CSV is attached to the intake manifold, the TTS is pretty well hidden at the back of the cylinder head, below the distributor.
