I have one of the 924S SE models with a manual drivers side mirror. Does anyone know where I might find replacement glass for it? All I can find is glass for the power mirrors. Thanks!

I has a neighbor that had a piece cut at a local glass shop - he used the other mirror to trace a template on a piece of cardboard. It seemed to work fine, and cost A LOT less than a factory piece.

J - I am driving in my first DE at Summit Point on Monday. Are you going to be out this way soon?

I would need the original glass to get a spare made. I think I found what I need in the PET for the 944. Apparently there was a 944 club sport (M637) that used the same mirrors so Im going to call the dealer monday.

Are you the main track, or shenendoah? They repaved the main track so its very nice! Turn 4 is my favorite on the track, its a fast right hander (I think Im at the top of 4th gear for that one) and then it leads to the slowest corner on the track. When they are racing this is where all of the action takes place.

Im actually going to be at Summit on sat 4/12 for a DE at shenandoah. I just bought a HANS device and I want to start getting used to it. Hopefully my electrical gremlins dont pop up but I think I fixed it by replacing the fuse block. Come on by if you have time!! I think theyre going to have a BBQ at the end of the event, and well certainly have some beer. Ill be paddocked with a group of VW drivers most likely.
