The 53 car needed a new nose panel after all the bumping and grinding at the local track. I took a mold off of Neil's car..from the headlights over the front edges of the fenders and the lower valance. So I can make these in one piece if I smash it up. The light openings have been converted into front brake duct cooling vents. I have the car fitted with spider web wheels and 8.5" foot print goodyear racing slicks.

Excellent!!!

Can you put a splitter on too? That'll REALLY make the nose stick...

Yeah..that was last years paint scheme.

I had a splitter last year and some of the other competitors complained it wasn't "stock".

One thing, that chin spoiler will create some drag, more than the stock front.

EXACTLY!!!

Not to mention, reducing airflow under the car can actually reduce drag. And that nose will already help front downforce. Now he just needs the 944 or LeMans rear wing to balance it!

Faster air moving under the car compared to over the car increases down force. If the air under the car is properly channeled, then drag can be reduced and down force can be gained. But who wants to spend time and cash on an under wing?

Guys..I am only hitting around 120-130km/h.

I forgot to mention the Turbo vents actually have duct work in place to channel ALL the air into the radiator which should really help keep it cooled down. The stock 924 does a terrible job at cooling the engine in the way of good radiator airflow.

Acceleration will be affected as much as top end would be.

Just a FYI.
