What limits the headlamp travel in the down position? It there a stop adjustment like in the up position?
I noticed at the weekend that one of my headlamps, in the down position, sits about 5 mm lower than the level of the centre-panel (the other one is about flush).
I tried to see what the headlamps sit on when down, but I couldn't tell by looking.
Anyone had this kind of problem...? _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)

Not that I am aware of.
I think to adjust the down position I had to undo the mount that the pivot is in and slide it fwd- IIRC. (its been a while) _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

Thanks, Ozzie. Sounds a bit involved.
I was hoping to solve it with a packing piece of some sort in the right place... _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)

IIRC there is only 3x 6mm bolts to loosen off. The bracket has slotted holes and slides fwd or back which raises or lowers the closed position.
Tighten up.
You may have to adjust the headlight lamp via the screws around the lamp to point back to the road.
