Still having a rough idle and hesitation...
After new motor mounts, vacuum line replacements, a full tune up, and everything else I could think of (and get advice for from you guys), I finally cracked open the Air Flow Meter (AFM) this evening, and found the dreaded "grooves" in the resistance track - even worn through to the white stuff underneath.
I am going to attempt to reset the contacts to another part of the resistance strip and hope this is the problem.
I hope this is it...

Looks like the AFM is fixed - seems to be idling much steadier now:
