hey everybody ....

so my 931 is now got its new paint on but i want to put a new porsche badge and beedings on the side but they are crazy this side with prices can anybody help with this

i want her to look all new on the outside not just the paint ..i beter post some pics

I should check the car I'm parting; has a badge in good shape IIRC, but not new-looking - the gold portion is faded to more of a brass colour - looks a little more vintage!

Think it also has side mouldings, but they don't seem original, seem too big?

thanks man that will be great if you can have a look at it for me.the people are crazy this side and the beedings well they arent to small but ya.only thing is to get it shipped to me in SA i have never done this before

How much are they over there?

i got mine for 40 US which i thought was reasonable..the quality is really good aswell...much cheaper than buying it locally in aus

well the badge is going for R800 thats about 106 us dollars...and the beedings is R2000 wich is about 270 us dollars

what do you mean "the beedings"??

Also i picked mine up off ebay..otherwise they are about twice the price in aus

Sounds very steep on the prices too!

ya the prices are crazy not going to pay that !!!

the beedings are the rubber strips down the middle of the doors.the mian pic for the board today if you click on it the white porsche has them on

I am pretty sure i have a full set of the rubber stips that run along the car...these one have a chrome strip in the middle....will have a look at them tommorow if thats what your after

ok thanx man cause i aint driving her until she is totally ready i will post pic's tomorrow to show what she looks like so far

so just check on those rubbers for me will be glad if i can get them any place than from porsche

No, my rubber strips are not correct, just aftermarket junk... and the badge isn't all that great; I agree, best to just buy a new one since you've gone to all the trouble of painting the car!

well if you want a mind tickler please check out the problem i placed un 931 tech on a major boost problem i'm stuck and getting iretated there LOL......

Just checked them out tonight

Condition looks okay...but there is some small cracks on the chrome strip in the middle...can only be noticed up close though

This is the strips when they were originally on the car....(so much has changed to the car from this pic)

Also its 10 seperate strips that are used

yes it is 10 strips in total.....the pic you placed on the board is not showing ?......to be honest i think any trips will be better than mine
