Hi all,
I've tried searching on this...but didn't find much. I've got a pair of those fibreglass sill covers in red.
However, my car is white. So for re-spraying
Is the same as metal bodywork? Do I just key up the surface with sandpaper.....then...primer....then wet n dry....then rattlecan spraypaint?
I have a feeling theres other stuff I need to buy to make it stick n stay to fibreglass?
thanks folks

If you only have access to rattle can producst you can get away with the steps your mentioned. Just one pre sanding step that can't be missed and that is to degrease the parts with a solvent. This will remove the mold release wax that will be all over the gel coat of the part. If you jump straight into sanding then you will be sanding wax into the pours of the gelcoat and cause paint bonding issues down the road. _________________ 1976 924
