first would like to thank applebit for selling me this ignition system and for all the stupid newbe questions!!!again WOW what adifference in starting cold hot and in performance!!!the car starts in an instant cold or hot.and my loss of power at 4,000 rpm is virtually gone!!i did reset the timing abit after instullation by road testing and she performs pertty dam good!!didnt use the light as jacobs recomends setting by ear and feel.again WOW!!i would recomend this update into any early 924  _________________ Doco "where am i going and why am i in this handbasket"author unknown

Which model did you install?
How does that compare to the MSD aftermarket ignitions?

sounds like your original ignition system may not have been working correctly. Remember that the main purpose of having an aftermarket ignition is so you can run larger spark plug gaps. So make sure to get the gap setup with your new ignition so you can take the most advantage of it. I found larger gap made a noticeable difference on my car.

ok ill resend a different post into the performance section thanks rasta.
min i would not be surprised if it wasnt working correctly.but she sure works now.and i did raise the gap 10 thou more as per jacobs instructions and ill get into that in a little more detail when i post this in performance.thanks for the info
77porsche924 i used the pro street kit with the extra igniter but again ill post this all in the performace section in more detail with some nice 4x10 glossy pics with circles and arrows
