I don't know if i care what the guy's done to it. First i think i'd ask why bother? Sounds like he has more money than sense (or at least had).
Hopefully no-one's crazy enough to buy the thing at that price. Am i the only one of this mindset?
EDIT: ok for some reason the link breaks and won't work. Just go to www.uniquecarsales.com.au and do a search for Porsche 924. I'm pretty sure it'll be the only one that's basically 20 grand!!! _________________ 77 NA 924

Ya...thats kinda high for a 924, that is only special because it has power steering and a automatic transmission.... _________________ =====>Alex<=====

Love the turbo setup. . .wouldn't want to swap the timing belt though! _________________ Toofah King Bad

Yeah... the p/s i can sort of understand although considering the prices i've heard the conversion costing it still comes under the heading 'counter-intuitive' for my money. And why oh why would you want to do an auto-box conversion?
Also... does anyone know if 5 lugs were standard by 82? Because if they're not, his car has 5 lugs and there's no mention of conversion or mod-plate which is legally required over here. _________________ 77 NA 924

I'd love to see the exhaust manifold setup on there...
Wonder what they did for the P/S conversion? It's got a 944 coolant reservoir too. Wonder how much boost it's running?
Fascinating. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Interesting turbo setup. Is it a n/a conversion??
Really *don't* like the steering wheel. Or the a/t. |

Don't get me wrong... the car sure is interesting and looks great. But 20k? There's a reason 'engineers' almost never get back what they've poured into a car - because you know that you're realistically not going to get it back.
Be interesting to see what sort of times it clocks and what speeds it reaches. _________________ 77 NA 924
