Cheers, guys!
Final update from Sunday... #77 won the remaining two races, but not without competition, as the black Capri of Todd Lincoln again applied pressure through both races, and in fact got in front in the Feature due to some on-track melee we had to go off-roading to avoid! But we reeled him back in and passed with a couple of laps to go, sealing the deal!
Meanwhile Chris Marsh, in the #55 car, moved up to 3rd in the ITB championship over Bob Hagemann Jr. on Saturday, after Bob overshot his braking point on the back straight and buried 'er in the gravel. Chris locked it down in the Sunday class race, finishing 5th while Bob was only able to get up to 8th, working his way back up from the back of the grid. Bob again suffered during the Sunday Feature race, suffering from a flat due to a corded/flat-spotted tire and having to park it, while Chris moved up to 4th after a couple of laps, passing Bob before he lost the tire.
So, Porsche wins the ITB Championship, and in fact takes a 1-3, splitting Todd Lincoln in 2nd!
Should have some half-decent highlights coming later on - though I'm on vacation this weekend (to Las Vegas), so can't promise I'll get 'em posted beforehand...
Added bonus - REAL trophy chicks for the awards banquet last night... from Hooters!!! Pics to follow, of course! _________________ Vaughan Scott
