|
|
Was bleeding my brakes yesterday, the driver side rear caliper bleeder screw was stripped, I got that free with a vice grips, only to find out that the bleeder screw is a "dummy" meaning it doesn't have a hole on the bottom side to allow it to bleed, it simply plugs the hole!
Is this common or was this the dreaded PO/quick lube fix to a previous issue!? _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

It should have a groove with a hole. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

Might as well make it easier to bleed while you're at it _________________ Stefan

Here are the two sets I got while trying to replace my rears. Neither was correct; the tips of the ones in the calipers were not pointed, rather hemispherical (as were their seats in the caliper body).
Useless information! _________________ Toofah King Bad

we got a set from speedbleeders.com and sheared them right off trying to install them. Might wanna be careful of that product. The ones we got from russell performance went in no problems.
