Id buy it if it had a late model dash, but only for parts. I always disagree with parting these cars if they can be saved, but this one needs to be parted, the structural integrity is most certainly destroyed. still many good parts on it though. be warned, it aint pretty...

i didnt post it in the classified section on purpose, someone might get the silly idea of attempting to make it a runner again.. it needs to live on, but only as donor parts... _________________ Eric

What I can see is an early 944 (83-84) with late (87 or later front seats).
The whole car is rusty, and the 928 rear wheel openings do not match the wheel size on the car.
Look at the intake tube on the engine. There is no question in my mind that the engine and tranny are in the same poor condition as the rest of the car.
This car is probably good for use for the engine and tranny cores for rebuilding and NOTHING ELSE. |

I don't know, gohim, that roll bar looks pretty sweet
Actually, the front seats appear to be in remarkable condition considering that the car has obviously not been protected from the elements. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

This car looks oddly appealing... I wish i had the welding & body talent's to make a convertible porsche 924...
This thing looks like the 928 "grafted rear" (being cheeky there) seems to fit nicely...
I know... I know the car itself is in bad shape and the person didn't pick the greatest candidates for the "transplant" or do the greatest job on the final body work... But a well done version would look pretty wicked!

This is what Darwin was talking about - mutations sometimes don't make it. _________________ 1980 924 turbo, MSD, Meth. Inj, otherwise stock. |
