The $100K price tag will be hard to take for most folks. Personally, I was hoping for a 924/944/968 resurrection.

Unfortunately it shares no design cues from its namesake. However, I would also prefer to see a new 944 instead... but only if they actually consider the past 944 in its design.

The 924 with a Boxer engine from Subaru would be a nice mix. Cheap and fun, maybe even better on gas.

Looks nice, but I wish they'd make their models a bit different one from another like in the old days

I'd love to see a 924 with the Subaru boxer and AWD drive train. Its either that or the 914 concept recently posted but as an all electric competitor to the Tesla. I can't say I like this 928 concept.

Looks a bit too much like some of the other current models (as has already been noted). I'd like to see something looking a little more like the old 928 as well; especially if they're going to call it a 928. Though at $100k+ I wouldn't be buying one of these anyway.

Nobbi no I didn't know that - just Googled it - pretty cool - torquey lil bugger.

That's so cool. Nice lines. Supercar fast.

Agreed...but if they're competing for the 6-series & Aston Martin crowd, that's the right price range. So just dreaming for a minute, which would you take, an M6, a DBS/DB9/Vantage, or a new 928???

If you think about it, though, the Boxster is the entry level Porsche, and as such fulfills the role of the 924/944/968, if not in spirit-form-function, then at least in price point.

Hands down, Aston Martin DBS for a true traditional grand touring vehicle.

The new 928. The Aston and M6 don't look as ferocious as the 928.

They mention this one:

Twin turbo V12 if you want something for your wife.

So is it just me or does it look like a Carrera GT with a roof?

(yes, I know it will likley be front engined with a V12 versus a mid-mounted V10)

What was it Jeremy Clarkson says about Porsche's designers again? Some of the hardest working people in the design world?
