Is there a specific torque spec for the steering wheel nut?

Asking because I am repairing some stuff there, and there seems to be a torque spec for every other nut.

Thanks.

Personally, I've never gone to the trouble of torquing it - just get 'er good and tight.
-But if you want to go by the '78-'85 924-924T spec, it's 45Nm ±10 (33ftlb ±7.5).

Thanks, Smoothie...

I've never torqued a SW nut before, either.

My questino was almost a tongu-in-cheek comment about the torque specs being thrown around on this forum.

When dealing with the engine block and head in a 924S, a torque wrench is your best friend.

A torque wrench and a shop manual for torquing sequence...
