Do you think we would be able to work on a car like this 28 years from now? Of course, I'd be way too old!

I don't even have the patience to read about mega-skwirt or whatever its called. I could never work on a car like that, it would require me to have a laptop in my toolbox.

After hearing about the launch control and grenading the tranny I wouldn't own one or touch one with a stick. What kind of sports car cries when you launch it when it's relatively new?

Ugh I hate those things The skyline GT-R R33 and R34 were just beautiful those things are just ugly as hell. And no, you could never restore one of those. Way to many plastic pieces, and way too many computer electronics. Plus, their won't be any left...they will all be wrecked in 28 years or so.

The R35 is an absolute weapon whichever way you look at it. Can't believe you guys... Of course its highly unlikely we'll realistically be doing any resto jobs on them in 30 years or so.

For the record i liked the 32 the best.

LOL... yeah, that LC function is a complete f'in joke... they really screwed up on that one... Just wait till the 2010 Vettes come out, and it'll all be over but the whining on teh interweb...

Hey, if we start saving right now, collectively, maybe in 20 years we can afford not only the car but also a spare trans!

I hear conflicting reports about the LC on the GTR now... either they have a new cal which raises the revs a few hundred rpm to save the trans (which sounds like an "oops maybe we should've done that for SOP (start of production)") or they won't be making that function available in 2010 in the US... but right now they both seem to be unconfirmed rumours online...

It's quite tricky restoring a car that's been wrapped aroung a tree, which is where most of them will end up...

o man that was funny. pretty much sums up how stupid the GTR is. I agree with everything in that video. Too bad the GTR is the supercar that cannot be driven the way it should be. I guess at half the price of a 997 turbo you get half the reliablility,
