Hey guys, I have had a search and can't find an answer...

I have a 1980 Euro spec 924 and I have fitted a rear roll bar off a '44 (As per the guide by Chrenan, thanks!) and I was hoping to uprate the front bar too but after having got the ARB mounts and an ARB off a later '24 it has become apparent that the chassis rails are different, my car has a beefy mount for the front ARB where the later bar bolts to the front chassis legs.

Are there any other stiffer factory bars that will be a direct fit? While its not too bad, its is clear the front bar is not stiff enough any more. I could chop the mounts about, should not be too hard but a bolt on would be easier!

Biggest one is 23 (M471). What are you running now? The 23 combined with stiffer springs will probably get you where you want to go.

I have a 25.5 mm front bar in the front. We mounted the bar under the A arm and relocated the long metal straps to the rails.

Works fine.

The biggest front sway bar in steel A-arms is 24mm from early 944 T .
