I'm fixing my shift system because my 'intermediate shift lever' died...
I found some play on the bushing which slides over that lever... it's a plastic one connected to the linking rod...
PET list displays the whole stuff, but the part I need doesn't have a number (page 179).

Anyone got some ideas? replacing that thing will obviously improve the whole feel... if it's replacable I'd rather buy stock stuff than lathe some sort of insert bushing.

So I found an old valve guide, which has 9mm inner diameter and slightlly more OD... I'll take the whole stuff to my work and fit the valve guide in the piece for a snug fit

still wondering if there's any replacement... can't imagine those wearing parts aren't available...

Smaller hole is 10mm the larger one is 15mm BTW.
the one fitted to my car is aluminium of the same design.

I'm waiting for the test subject to get his damn car back on the road to test this mk2 plastic one.

I made it as the original plastic lump was oval in 2 dimensions...
