I've got a very good shape (now engineless) 932 wich i bought and drove home from the UK...i love that car and i hate to see it sit...so i've tossed in the old 924NA-CISed engine...i've just polished it today

Now...to make this work i need RHD headers as the RHD steering shaft colides with the LHD exhaust manifold. Found this part and going to have it soon.
That being sorted out...i'm moving to the clutch.
The 932 has a snailshell gearbox so a thick TT.
I still have the NA bellhousing but the 932 had hydraulic clutch and i want to keep it that way.
So...the plan is to use a 932 bellhousing with hydraulic clutch and throwout bearing but with a bronco2 clutch disk(or a used 931 disk if i'll find any) and the NA flywheel&pressure plate.

Anyone see any fault in this plan?
i'm afraid that the bronco disk/931 disk wont be compatible with the NA flywheel and pressure plate.

Any toughts ?

You can't use 931 disc with NA flywheel and pressure plate because 931 disc is 225 mm, NA clutch is 215mm. Ford Mustang disc will work.

I don't think your clutch plan will work.

Unable to find RHD headers anywhere, so custom made some. Interested to know who makes them or where you got yours? This question pops up every now and then so sure other Oz and UK guys are too.

No idea about the clutch though.

changing the flywheel wouldnt be a problem...its just that its very heavy and sending it by mail would cost a fortune.

i've just found another issue regarding this mixup.
plan is to use a 931 bellhousing with 931 clutch system but with ford mustang clutch disk to fit the 924NA flywheel.

issue 1: will the NA pressure plate corectly mate with the 931 bearing?
issue 2: will the 931/944 starter motor mate and corectly operate with the NA flywheel?

in a word Nope.
The 931 ring gear for the starter is mounted on the clutch pressure plate assembly (or it on mine) so unless youhave a931 presure plate and ring it won't work.

allright...so its one of the two options:

1. use the complete 931/932 clutch assembly...including 931 flywheel.
2. use the complete NA clutch...and convert to cable operated clutch.

Will the N/A clutch fit the 932 TT? I thought it had a thicker driveshaft?

I would think that 932 clutch, hydraulics, flywheel and starter would be the way to go.

Rich, the NA clutch wont fit the 931 TT but a certain ford mustang disk will fit the NA flywheel&pressure plate and the 931 TT.

PS: Rich...could you please send me some pics of that exhaust manifold you said you have? thanks.
