I have posted my story recently with a trade for German plates that read
"RUD 924" I sent him my NY Plates. He was selling his car on ebay and I noticed the plates and asked if we could trade.

I also had requested and got NY plates in 1977 when I got my 924 and they read and still do by the way "HIS 924" I still have them in excellent condition.

I am willing to trade plates with anyone outside the US and Canada.

Y'know, I've been pondering that very thing lately. The Targa Newfoundland is calling me...

But it's hard to decide: All things considered, it's probably cheaper to ship mine over than to buy another one here. And with mine, at least I know what I'm getting into.
But it's a lot of hassle. And for no reason I can explain, I'd still feel a little more comfortable leaving mine at home. It might cost a few bucks more but I have considered buying another here... pretty much every day!

Plus I can get an 924S here. Can't get them back home...

That's a key point. However, a 924S would be nice, I have to admit.

you'll be dissapointed about their performance...after owning a ROW 924 turbo...a 944/924S feels slow.

That's exactly what I keep saying, there's a certain 944 for sale in the Edmonton area that I'd just love to pick up...if only I had that five grand kicking about...

Yes, yes, I'm jealous of your 951

Although I doubt six grand would buy the one I'd be looking for. But there was a really nice metallic sky-blue 944 S2 (the S2's have that monster 3-litre, right?) that parked at my work a while back. Damn, that was a good looking car. And I'm not a huge fan of the look of 944's! But this thing was pretty. Made me want one.

EDIT: That's the colour...

If I decide to go to the next step a 951 would be my choice, I really like the flared fenders and the clean lines of them, not to mention the power.

Khal, you like in the car importation mecca of Canada, theres got to be a company or someone who can get your car over at a reasonable price.

Sorry no story or special plate from me, just too cheap.

Tryp

Green tartan interior, you don't see that on a Civic.
