The rightmost side of my dash refuses to stay down, and the carpet is beginning to tear off right next to the door and hood pulley. What is the best product I should use to make these guys stay? _________________ 1979 Porsche 924- Snailshell

Well I thought it was obvious enough that glue is needed. But I don't think elmer's will do the trick. I'd like to know something strong that will make the plastic and carpet hold. _________________ 1979 Porsche 924- Snailshell

Or "contact cement" from a hardware store - available in both brush-on, and aerosol spray cans. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."
