I might sound redundant, but i've never seen any talk about a U.S 924 meeting, anyone shed any light?
Or anyone planning one? _________________ 80' 931 EFI, EDIS 4, Porsche Racing GReen |

Too many corners in the US of A for anyone to agree on one location! THere is a Michigan group getting together this year, if not already. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

I'd go for a road trip, it's a shame, be a blast to see all the gorgeous cars i've seen on this board. _________________ 80' 931 EFI, EDIS 4, Porsche Racing GReen |

In the past, Hershey has been a meet point, but I don't think the 924 has been too well represented there the last couple of years...it's a bit high-falutin' for our lowly toofahs from what I've heard. Several years ago, I was fortunate to meet up with the Omaha Crew at the erstwhile / now-defunct Porsche Fun Fest at Mid-America Motorworks in Effingham IL.
In any event, we are having a GTG in SE MI in a few weeks:

Brunch at my place on Sat morning, rally out to Waterford Hills, watch the afternoon race, and then enjoy some cold beverages afterwards...and maybe even some food. Don't know yet if anyone's planning to camp Sat night at the track and enjoy the Sunday races, but I won't be able to myself.
If it helps, for the June 27-28 weekend, I've had one of the locals offer up one guest room for any of the out-of-towners, and I could probably make the same accommodations as well.
Also, we did a nice Turkey Day GTG last fall, and I'd definitely be up for reprising that again this year. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
