I am trying to rectify a problem with my 924S headlights (the pods raise up, but there is no light, neither low nor main beam).
I have used "search" and I am now checking the wiring diagram.
I recently read a thread where somebody identified the wiring colour codes from the German to the English language.
I cannot find the thread.
If someone knows the thread, can they point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Don

Color codes are in here, but they're English abbreviations to English - http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=24683

Ok thanks smoothie.
Abbreviations in English are not a problem though.
My wiring diagram shows the concealed headlight colours as
br, ge, ws and what is actually there is brown, yellow and white.
Hence I believe the diagrams abbreviations are in German.
I have found a German / English dictionary and the translation is:
br = braun = brown
ge = gelb = yellow
ws = weish = white
gr = grau = grey
rt = rot = red
bl = blau = blue
sw = schwarz = black
gn = grun = green

I think thats right..........hope it helps somebody

I've now got an electrical problem with my 924, so I'm off to post another query about alternators .
