Good score! I was watching that to see what they'd go for. That's nice setup. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Nice Buy! But did anyone read questions to seller? Apparently three enquiries from OZ prospectives - what gives down here? Everybody sick of CIS? _________________ 80/81 932/8 ROW |

Yeah, that OZ activity is worth trying to figure out.
If you look closely at the pics (and not that this matters...) but I don't think that's a 924 head. The part number isn't anything I could find. Looks right but..., might be from a gremlin (which did not come with webers I am sure) or a USPS mail truck (which also did not have webers...). I posted a question in another thread here but the part # doesn't seem to be identifiable.
So anyway, it will be nice to get an update once you get these puppies in your hot little hands |

I think the head is a 924 head, but that the number is a casting number, not a part number. There are plenty of other such examples on these cars, including alu trailing arms and a-arms. The carbureted heads wouldn't have the injector bungs, which are clearly visible in those photos. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Yeah I checked it out pretty closely. I haven't had the head off of mine yet (I bought a running 924 and figured why tear it apart until I'm ready to drop in the euro pistons I got), but the head is a 924 head if you look at the Hayne's. _________________ TX24
