Hi there

Well since i bought the car (924 N/A 1982) the lights wasnt really bright . So i read about it and it ogirinally came out with a sealed beams. So the PO did the semi-sealed beam swap with aritic blue lights 45/60 . So the problems begin.
1st was the headlights will go off randomly and come back again few seconds later(while this was happinging i coulve switch to brights/longlights and it worked) So i redid the all the wires at the battery + and - . So then the lights was fine but recently my left side decided to not work anymore(brights/longlights still works) So i thought it coulve beem the light but its not because if i swap lights the right side still works fine. So i tought it can be a earth problem and i checked my earth connection and its not that.

Heres the coulours

Yellow -
Brown - earth
White - i think its the brights/longlights

While i was checking this cables my power reading is about 11V ( Car is stading since im fixing alot of thigns and waiting for my tapids to arrive. ps. i have tinkerd with the lights abit before testing the cable voltage output)

Its kinda hard to trace i think the problem is the yellow cable , i thought il just trace the wires where both sides come toghter then just connect the right yellow cable with the left side's cable , i have no idea if it will work so thats why im here.
Any1 had this problem before?

Lastly my lights isnt really bright and the lights in it cost A$40 per light because apperently it got 20m longer light then any other light , but in my case the lights only light about 20m....

Ok so i had a closer look just now.
I trace the cables to where all of them come toghther strip the housing and i got 3 yellow wires now

My lights use the following cables
Left - Yellow
Right - Yellow + Black

I got both of them under the car but the wires over there is like this
yellow + white
yellow + black
Yellow

So wht uses the yellow + white then? My mind tells me the left light should be using it?

Ok....
I feel stupid now ....
The problem was 1 of the fuses was dead....
All of my hard work and at the end it was only a fuse...

Glad you got it fixed We all have those DUH? moments remember the fuse blew for a reason?
