even though the weight dist is a bit off from the ideal, i think it will still handle better than most cars, should be fast too! _________________ "Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves. "

From what I recall, the weight distribution of the SBC wasn't that much heavier. I think Porschev or Applebit might have some stats on that... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

On my car I have the CGTS front bumper and GTS lights. When I add the 'glass hood the front of the car will be lighter that stock. With the elimination of the OEM undercoating (50# worth) the sunroof and motor, (I made a steel panel to weld in) and the Euro rear bumper, the car will be approx 2700#. That's with a gen I small block with aluminum heads, intake, water pump, mini starter and headers.
I've been weighing everthing throughout the project.
That 924 shouldn't be much different than a 951 when complete. |
